I was approached and asked to design a label for a Bulgarian brandy called Rakiya. The Bulgarian brandy can be made from different fruit  but the most common ones are apricot, plums, apples and grapes. Many people who produce this beverage are artisans and the focus on quality is strong. Inspired by the owner’s passion for his craft I decided to portray this dedication through illustration, creating a unique letterform. A very important part of the label design was to implement the house where the owner grew up as a child and the grape vines that surrounded his home. As a part of the client’s presentation I decided to play with 3D software Blender and conceived a 3D model showing how the label would be applied on a bottle.
